We did struggle a bit with scheduling; the days I am home are somewhat limited, weather prevented some work being done, parts were broken on delivery (no fault of Comfortworks, they noticed it was broken when they got it), and miscommunication between the front office and the crew. But, despite the scheduling issues, I still wanted to rate the service 5 stars and provide a review because the quality and price was the best you can expect. First, I received 4 quotes from various contractors, and Comfortworks was the cheapest (by thousands). Second, their proposed solutions included Mitsubishi units which, by my understanding, are far better quality than the brands quoted by other contractors. And thirdly, the people are great to work with. Lou was very educational and made various recommendations during his initial visit, essentially explaining limitations of our house design and duct work and providing “premium” options, best-value for your money options, and the cheapest option, and priced each. And after we made our decision, Jared and his team that worked the install were amazing. My house is quite a “DIY” house, renovated several times by prior owners, and Jared fixed issues with wiring and the electrical box, and brought everything up to code related to the HVAC system. They also fixed my drip line which originally dripped outside, and instead fed it into my septic drainage (which will prevent freezing in the winter). And not only that, he even fixed an old basement door by sealing it with weather stripping and attaching sheet metal to the bottom, AND replaced my outside faucet which was broken and installed incorrectly (he noticed the issue when getting water for the concrete pad needed for the heat pump Unit). Is the company perfect? No... like I said we had quite a lot of issues with scheduling. But that can happen with any contractor. Does the company provide the highest quality support at a competitive price (in my case the lowest price)? Based on my experience, yes, without a doubt. Thank you! Read Less

I was very impressed on the response, and I met Lou Denny the next night when he showed up to give me a quote. I loved that the owner of the company was here to give me a quote and I loved his story and the fact Comfortworks wasn't owned by a big corporation. Also, his company is locally based out of Berlin, NJ. That checked a lot of boxes for me. After discussing my needs, Lou pointed me to a system and gave me a very competive price quote. So I pulled the trigger. The guys who did the install were all great also! They really gave it 110% and some of his guys were here until after 8PM on one Friday. Then they came back on Saturday and got us up and running so we didn't have to wait until Monday to finish the install and get relief from the heat. The installation turned out amazing! My wife and I are extremely happy with everything and we love the Mitsubishi mini splits we have now. We look forward to working with Lou and Comfortworks in the future. We highly recommend them! They were not daunted by the complexity of our job, and kept us informed as they tackled the best way to install them in our home. They cleaned up after themselves nicely, and stayed beyond hours to get the job done. They are very professional and very knowledgeable. You can tell they know what they are doing. We are very satisfied. The units themselves are super quiet and work nicely. Read Less

This is our first home and we did a lot of work to modernize before we moved in. The 55 year old HVAC needed major updating. Finding a good HVAC company is difficult. I interviewed several before finding Comfortworks. I wanted a dual zone heat pump, but most contractors did not have the technical capability (or willingness) to do the job. Lou designed a Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat Dual Fuel multi-zone system that also included necessary changes to the existing duct work. Mason made sure appropriate supplies/returns were added or removed to achieve airflow balance. He installed new ducting where needed and insulation wrapped. He also did a killer job running necessary conduit up the side of my house to operate the second floor system. It seriously looks like an architectural feature as it follows the chimney stack and roofline of the house. Great work! Jared came in and fine tuned the system and did quality assurance checks. He provided an overview of maintenance and operation. Lauren is asset to the organization. She makes sure the trains run on time. She is super responsive and easy to get ahold of by text. This was a challenging install. I am extremely happy Comfortworks took it on. Thank you to the team! Read Less
